Once again we’re invading the North Queensland Aero Club, this time to celebrate the launch of Half Moon Bay.
The sausages are ready to go, the french sticks are baked, the onions are sautéed and the champagne is chilled. Collins Booksellers from Smithfield have ordered in pallets of books (well a couple of boxes at least!) and Capt G has his apron on, ready to man the BBQ.
All we need now are the guests! Celebrations kick off at 6 pm and I’ll need a nanna nap by 9 pm. Should be a fabulous night. I’ll have photographic proof for you tomorrow 🙂
And meanwhile here’s a shot of two lovely friends, Matt and Sarah, who found Half Moon Bay in Melbourne Airport. Has it been spotted anywhere else yet? Love to see photos of it on the shelves.
Hi from Mexico, just finished reading the book on my kindle.
Damn good read!
Hope the book launch went well.
Don’t have your email address on my iPad, can you send me one. Got some news
I’ll have to bring a launch party south, Kerrie!
I’m glad your launch party went well! Wish I could’ve been there 🙂
Thanks, Sandy, very excited to make the short list!
Hmm, I know what you mean about the initials 🙂
Congratulations on Burning Lies making the Daphne du Maurier Awards short list, Helene! That’s great news. 🙂
Hope you had fun at the HMB…hmm that doesn’t seem right, okay no acronyms for Half Moon Bay, anyway, hope you had fun at the launch. 🙂
Thanks, Brenda and Gabrielle, it was a fun night and this time I did get to chat to everyone!
