Oh Rachael, thank you so much. I’m glad you enjoyed the books and I’ll keep working at the talented side of things. Conferences always make me aware of how much I have to learn !
Yikes, Sandy, make sure you let the conference organisers know for next year!! The workshops were fabulous as always and I’m glad you had many light bulb moments. Regards back to Capt B 🙂
I had a great time – except for the food the Hilton thought was suitable for someone allergic to grains. My muscles are still shaking from an overload of grain. Grr.
Paula Roe’s ‘First chapters, hook ’em and hold ’em’ was absolutely fantastic! Julia Hunter’s body language session was brilliant. Joan Kilby’s ‘Writing the emotional roller-coaster’ is a tool I’ll keep forever.
Thanks for your vote of confidence in Shattered Sky, Brenda! I’m so delighted that Wings of Fear now has a R*BY but I’m not going to plan on that happening next year! Two years of being speechless might be too much 🙂
Congratulations Helene. I wish I was there to see and enjoy your experience. Thanks for uploading the video though. It was lovely to watch. 🙂 Woo Hoo!!!!
Flu is almost gone. Hopefully next year will be a done deal. 🙂
Thanks Fleur and Cathy. It was a wonderful evening and a huge surprise. I’m delighted that Wings of Fear resonated with readers. Now I just need to come back down to earth 🙂
Thanks Zosia, but I wish I’d shared your confidence!! I still find myself smiling at odd times during the day…
And I miss your reviews on Good reads – my TBR pile is dwindling…
Congratulations (yes, I’m very late with that!).
I knew you’d win.
Thanks Eleni, sounds like it was fun at the Clayton’s.
Hopefully see you at the Gold Coast:)
A fantastic win, Helene. You know how much I enjoyed Wings of Fear (aka Border Watch). Cheered you on from the Claytons chat room party!! x
