Capt G and I are finally back in the Brisbane putting our feet up aboard Roobinesque. The Northern Heat tour was everything I hoped for. We met so many lovely librarians, readers and booksellers and had a little bit of spare time to check out the towns we visited. From Casino to Mildura and back to Brisbane we were welcomed so warmly. The Book Launch in Cairns was the usual party – a big thank you to the North Queensland Aeroclub for welcoming us again and an even bigger thank you to Collins Booksellers Smithfield for their support. Kerstin, Andrew, Holly and their team have been there since Border Watch and it’s great to see a local book shop thriving!
Thanks to Lyn at the Ashgrove Library for her all hard work to make the Brisbane Launch such a success. We had a wonderful night and hope to visit again!
