My day started early in Mildura with clear blue skies and a chill in the air. I love country towns and their mile wide streets with pretty flowers and gangly palms. This was the view from my breakfast café.
By lunchtime I was winging my way across Bass Strait, a first for me at the controls of an aircraft.
Sadly the weather gods decided to play dirty. No view from the flight deck and by the time we landed at Devonport the rain had decided to fall – it’s a lot colder than what I’m used to in Cairns…
I’m hoping tomorrow will give me a glimpse of the Strait and the coast of Tasmania 🙂
Layer upon layer, Brenda. I looked like the Michelin Man from those tyre adverts of years ago 🙂
Have fun Helene! Your worst problem would be packing for four seasons I think 😉
