Today was supposed to be a no blog day. In fact it was supposed to be a limited internet day as I’m hurtling towards a deadline with the story still taking shape. I’m on reserve for flying hoping the phone doesn’t ring but I just have to share my good news!
Shattered Sky has made it to the short list for the RWA’s Romantic Book of the Year award. I’m in the ‘with romantic elements’ category. Congrats to my fellow finalists Anna Jacobs, Nicola Marsh and June Loves. What a wonderful diverse cross section of romance novels!
Now it’s back to work for me with a smile on my face 🙂
Thanks, Hayley. I’ve stopped pinching myself but I am still smiling!!
Hope your writing is flowing 🙂
Wow, that’s incredible, Helene!! You must be pinching youself… after all the ‘hard’ years that are behind you, you’ve earned it. Well done!
Thanks, Jo! Hope your writing is going well too!
Thanks, Eleni, I’ve very honoured to be on the list this year 🙂

Congratulations Helene! That is so exciting for you…but I can’t say I’m surprised 🙂
Thanks, Cathryn ad Phillipa. I’m still stunned and trying desperately to keep working away on my current WIP.
I’m delighted just to be short listed with so many wonderful writers!
Congratulations Helene, I hope it’s another winner.
WONDERFUL news, Helene. I’m absolutely delighted for you. Here’s hoping for win number two!
