Aung San Suu Kyi – because she conducts herself with dignity and has never given up hope.

Queen Elizabeth II – because she endures and is a marker of our changing world.
Nina Walker, my Grade 11 and 12 English teacher – because she shared her love of writing and so much more, and inspired her students.
