Girl power always makes me smile.
At our friends’ wedding on Saturday we had a ‘pilot’ photo. The girls outnumbered the guys five to three, although we manage to leave one of the women out of the photo… (sorry Fizz..), and the guys tried to claim Baby William was a pilot in the making.
And waterworks they were, Amanda! I was handing out tissues to a couple of other romantics 🙂
oh beautiful! Nothing like a wedding between soul mates to start the waterworks for me – Helene – stunning as always!
Thanks Cathryn, I did have a good cry much to the amusement of some of my male colleagues. But what’s a girl to do?
Two gorgeous people taking their vows chokes me up every time. Garth is like a little brother. We started flying together on the same course almost twenty-three years ago and I’ve watched him go from a gangly teenager to a wonderful man who’s going to be a great husband and father. Tash is perfect for him 🙂 So very happy for them both!
Lol, Sandy, but I don’t FEEL short… sigh…
Tash looked stunning despite the heat hovering around a very humid 34 degrees all afternoon. Don’t know how she did it! The frangipanis were indeed fragrant and scattered everywhere. It smelt and looked amazing.
I’m with Rach, that’s a gorgeous dress. Both both bride and guest look stunning!
Did you have a good wedding cry, Helene? I can never help myself.
Go girl-team go!
I hear you on the height-challenged problem, Helene.
Rach, the dress is indeed beautiful – I’d like the figure that managed to squeeze into it! 🙂
Oh, the bride’s dress is nice too. Actually, on closer inspection it looks quite stunning. And a bouquet of evergreen frangipani, what a brilliant, *scentual* idea.
Thanks, Rach, it was a lovely day:-)
The dress was pretty special too, but I’m wondering when I grew so short?? Every time I see a photo of me in a group I’m surprised – and I was wearing super high heels!
Looks like fun! Ana MAN I LOVE your dress!
