The amazing folk at the Queensland Writers Centre were washed out of their new home in the State Library by the rising tide of the Brisbane River. Undaunted, and working from temporary offices, they’ve put together a fund raiser for the QLD Flood appeal.
The list of prizes is huge with over 150 well known writers from Australia and overseas contributing. Prizes ranged from book packs or author visits, to naming rights on characters, and writer support such as mentoring.

Tickets cost a very low $5 and the odds are a whole lot better than Gold Lotto 🙂
